Warming up is an essential component to being able to perform at a high level

Warming up increases body temperature to make the muscles activate properly, improves joint range of motion, reduces risk of injury, and prepares the body to move in the way the athlete will move in his or her sport. Coach Ryan likes to take his athletes through 3 phases of warming up. Those phases include:

  1. General Warmup

  2. Dynamic Warmup

  3. Sport Specific Warmup
